Let it snow...

...oh wait, it did!

We had our first snowfall in the early hours of Saturday morning. I don't mind the snow if I don't have to go out in it, but I love how pretty it looks when it is a fresh undisturbed covering.

It got me thinking about a card, and decided to go with a snowy theme:

I stamped my own background with white ink on blue card, and silver ink behind the die cut snowflake. The card fits with a few challenges (click the blog names for links):

Papertake Weekly - Let it Snow
Crafty Catz - Shades of blue's
A Gem of a Challenge - Christmas song/carol; I'm going with Dean Martin's Let it Snow :)

Reindeer Wishes

Hi again,
This is my second card today, this one for Sketch Saturday (click blog name for link) using their layout:

Hopefully not too much of a change but I have the main image as landscape rather than portrait like in the sketch:

I stamped the reindeer sentiment using Dew Drop Brilliance In Moonlight White. I have to admit I wasn't expecting it to work so good on vellum but it has stamped really well; just needed a blast from a heat gun to dry some areas.

Tilda with Christmas Bell

Hi,

I have made some cards today for challenges. Here is the first using the sketch over at Creative Inspirations (click blog name for direct link) which is Anything Goes + Sketch:

There is another post with my second card of the day :)

Bugaboo Merry Christmas

Hi all,

This morning I have made a card for the challenge over at Sketch Saturday (click for the link). They are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps so I dug out an image I already own:

The sketch for challenge #386:

I do like colouring these images :)

Seasons Greetings Gift-card

Hi again,

Saying as I have a day off I thought I would try and get in more time for crafting. My second card is about the next season, Winter!

Again, a few challenges (links in the blog names) for this one:

Papertake Weekly have an Anything Goes challenge with an optional theme to make a Christmas gift. I thought I would combine a card and treat box of chocolates all in one :)

Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog has a Dies and/or punches challenge; I used both tools for the snowflakes.

For the final challenge for this card I followed the winter theme challenge over at Crafty Catz.
